My landlord won't return my deposit. What do I do?

Prepared from the official page

You have the right to get your deposit back in full, or what is left of it, after you hand over the home. If you disagree with the landlord, ask for the Expert service in Ejar.

Steps

  1. Sign in on the official Ejar website.
  2. When you move out, fill in the check-out form within 7 days of the contract end.
  3. If you disagree with the landlord about the deposit, choose the Expert service, then Submit Inspection Request, within the period Ejar sets.
  4. Pay the service fee and wait for the expert's report on the home.
  5. If the problem continues, send a complaint to Ejar or call 199011.

Have ready:

  • A rental contract documented in Ejar
  • The check-out form in Ejar
  • Expert service fee: 300 riyals, paid by the person who asks for it
