My bank charged me a fee I did not agree to. What can I do?

Prepared from the official page

Your bank must get your approval before any fee. Object to your bank first. If it does not fix the problem, complain to the Saudi Central Bank.

Steps

  1. Look at the charge message and your account statement.
  2. Check whether you agreed to this fee before.
  3. Call your bank and file a complaint, and keep its number.
  4. If the bank does not fix the problem, file a complaint on the Saudi Central Bank portal.

Have ready:

  • The charge message or account statement
  • The date and amount of the fee
  • Your complaint number at the bank
