Aramex, SMSA or Saudi Post complaint: how do I complain to a courier?

Prepared from the official page

An Aramex, SMSA, Saudi Post or other parcel courier complaint starts with the company itself; the Transport General Authority says it must handle it within 7 days. If it does not, or does not respond, escalate to the Authority on the unified number 19929, by email to 19929@tga.gov.sa, or through its free Reports and Complaints service.

Steps

  1. Decide who to complain about: if the problem is the shipment itself, such as late delivery or a lost or damaged parcel, complain about the shipping company. If the store never shipped your order or the product is faulty, complain about the store: see Dalni's page "I paid an online store and my order never came. How do I complain?".
  2. Complain to the shipping company first through its official channels: its app, website or the customer service number published on its website. Give the shipment number, and keep the complaint number and date.
  3. Wait for the company's reply: the Transport General Authority says the delivery company must handle the complaint within 7 days.
  4. If the company does not handle the complaint or does not respond: call the Transport General Authority on the unified number 19929, or email 19929@tga.gov.sa.
  5. Or file the complaint online: open the Reports and Complaints (البلاغات والشكاوى) service on the Transport General Authority website, press «ابدأ الخدمة» (Start service) and sign in with the National Single Sign-On (Nafath).
  6. Fill in the complaint form with the shipping company's name, the shipment number and your complaint number with the company, attach the supporting documents, and send the form. The service is free.
  7. The Authority follows up the escalated complaint with the company to get it resolved, and takes the necessary action to make sure the company complies with the regulations.
  8. If your complaint is about a delivery app or a taxi rather than a parcel company, see Dalni's page "TGA complaint: how do I complain about a taxi or a delivery app?".

Have ready:

  • The shipment (tracking) number
  • Your complaint number with the shipping company and its date
  • Photos of the parcel if it arrived damaged, and screenshots of your messages with the company
  • The purchase invoice or the shipping receipt
