How do I file a labour office complaint (amicable settlement)?

You file it online on the Ministry of Human Resources e-services portal. The service is free. For help, call 19911.

Steps

  1. Sign in to the Ministry's e-services portal (individuals portal).
  2. Choose “Amicable Settlement”, then “File a case”.
  3. Enter your details, your employer's details, and your job details.
  4. Choose the case topic, and attach your papers.
  5. Agree to the declaration, then press “Send”. You get the review result within 48 hours.

Have ready:

  • Your work contract, or proof of your work with the employer
  • The papers needed for your type of case
  • PDF files or photos, each file up to 5 MB
  • A legal power of attorney if someone files for you
